Job summary
Nordex SE in Chicago, IL, seeks a Tender Manager to lead contract negotiations and risk management for PM-related topics across the wind energy projects in the USA. You will coordinate with Sales, Planning, Procurement and Logistics teams to support bids and contract execution.
The role requires 5+ years in comparable contracts, strong commercial and financial knowledge, and travel up to 25% within the USA, CAD and Germany.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in sales engineering, project management, business management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in contract management with multi-million-dollar contracts.
- Contract negotiation experience in similar industries and ability to manage risk.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with a proactive mindset.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% within USA, CAD and Germany.
Responsibilities
- Lead contract negotiations for PM topics with clients, virtually and in person.
- Provide risk identification and mitigation to internal review teams.
- Compute cost estimates to support project execution schedules and logistics.
- Coordinate schedules with planning, procurement, and logistics teams.
- Deliver thorough handovers to execution teams.
- Support clients and BOP contractors during the sales phase.
- Represent Nordex to clients and maintain strong relationships.
