Job summary

Nordex Group in Chicago, IL seeks a Tender Manager to lead contract negotiations and manage risk across wind energy projects. You will partner with sales and project teams on pre-tender and bid processes, developing cost estimates for equipment, material, and labor.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 25% to USA, Canada, and Germany. A relevant degree is essential, with a focus on project management or engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in sales engineering, project management, business management, or related field.
• 5+ years in similar positions with multi-million-dollar contracts.
• Contract negotiation experience required.
• PM experience or heavy construction/wind energy exposure a plus.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills; able to travel 25% within USA, Canada, Germany.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations for PM topics with clients, virtually and in person.
• Identify and mitigate risks; integrate mitigation into contracts.
• Provide cost calculations to support project schedules and related topics.
• Coordinate project schedules with planning, procurement, and logistics.
• handover to execution teams; support clients and contractors during sales phase.
• Represent Nordex to clients and maintain strong relationships.
