Nordex SE in the United States is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end wind project execution across the US and Canada. You will manage governance, schedules, budgets, and customer relations, coordinating with Engineering, Logistics, and Legal/Contracts to ensure on-time delivery and safe operations.

You will drive risk management, change control, and revenue forecasting while mentoring project teams and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with senior customer executives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex energy, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.
• Minimum 8+ years in wind project management, wind construction, or related leadership.
• Proven track record with customer governance, contract administration, and financial forecasting.
• Experience mentoring project teams and leading cross-functional groups.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end project governance across the lifecycle from Sales-to-PM handover to Service handover.
• Own integrated project performance balancing HSE, quality, schedule, cost, and cash collection.
• Serve as primary customer interface with executives, engineers, contractors, and Nordex leadership.
• Establish and maintain project controls: schedule, risk registers, forecast reviews, and change control.
• Lead forecast reviews focusing on commercial changes, risks, and cost management.
• Coordinate contractual obligations, change orders, and dispute avoidance.
• Support execution readiness: team structure, site readiness, logistics, and tool setup.
• Define and implement technical solutions with Engineering and global functions.
• Ensure robust schedule management and early risk identification for critical milestones.
• Comply with Nordex QHSE, safety plans, and regulatory/contractual obligations.
• Intervene to stop work if immediate HSE risk arises and report hazards.
• Escalate deviations affecting critical path or cost with structured problem-solving.
• Manage project documents and digital environments, handovers, and punch lists.
• Support negotiation strategy with subcontractors to protect deliverables and margins.
• Mentor PMs, Site Managers, and project teams on governance and processes.
• Represent Nordex with customers and industry stakeholders; uphold values and service mindset.
• Travel to project sites and offices as required to support delivery and milestones.
