Job summary

Planar in Los Angeles is seeking a strategic sales leader to own the Western US territory. You will refine our sales strategy, recruit and develop account managers and applications engineers, and align channel partners to achieve revenue goals.

You will analyze market data, influence pricing with market intelligence, and drive showroom initiatives while forecasting and reporting to leadership. This is a high-impact role for a proven proAV and display solutions expert.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or a related field.
Minimum five years of technology sales leadership experience, including 3 years in proAV.
Experience with LED/LCD displays and large flat panels is preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Refine and execute sales strategy to meet business goals in the Western territory.
Develop assigned team including account managers and applications engineers for sales related skills and product knowledge.
Establish performance measures and evaluate effectiveness of sales roles and partners.
Inform pricing decisions with market intelligence and customer feedback.
Identify and recruit top resellers and thought leaders in the territory.
Lead joint sales calls, trainings, product demonstrations, and tradeshows.
Contribute to channel marketing programs and sales tools to grow revenue.
Develop showroom strategy across the region and maintain forecast reporting.
