Job summary

Planar in Phoenix, AZ seeks a senior technology sales leader to drive the Western territory. You will build and develop an assigned team, forecast revenue, and align channel partners and manufacturers’ reps to win key accounts.

The role emphasizes market intelligence, pricing input, and hands-on sales execution through joint calls, trainings, and demonstrations at tradeshows, with a heavy travel schedule and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of technology sales leadership experience, including at least 3 years of proAV experience.
• Track record of success selling and forecasting in the territory.
• Proficiency in oral, written and presentation communication.
• Experience with LED/LCD displays or large flat panels is preferred.
• Experience with the integration channel in proAV sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Refine and execute sales strategy to meet business goals in the Western territory.
• Develop assigned team including account managers and applications engineers for sales-related skills and product knowledge.
• Establish performance measures and evaluate effectiveness of sales roles and partners.
• Contribute to pricing decisions by providing market intelligence and feedback.
• Identify and manage top resellers and industry thought-leaders in the territory.
• Lead joint sales calls, trainings, product demonstrations, and tradeshows.
• Contribute to channel marketing programs and sales tools.
• Develop and maintain forecast reporting and updates to leadership.
• Communicate market and product information to the leadership team.
