Job summary

Applied Spectral Imaging (ASI) seeks a results-driven Account Manager for a Western U.S. territory, focusing on clinical pathology and genetic laboratories. You will manage assigned accounts, prospect new opportunities, and guide customers from initial contact through post-sale support.

The role requires travel up to 50%, strong communication, experience with cytogenetics or pathology tools, and proficiency with Salesforce CRM to keep a structured sales process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field required.
• Advanced degree (MSc/MBA/MHA or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience in clinical pathology or genetic laboratory analysis using cytogenetics, FISH, H&E, or IHC mandatory.
• Medical capital equipment sales experience with knowledge in Genetics/Pathology advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large geographic territory and plan customer visits.
• Travel up to 50% to engage with customers and attend events.
• Represent ASI at conferences, events, and workshops.
• Collaborate with ASI technical team on product demonstrations and support.
• Maintain CRM records and provide weekly progress reports, targeting 3 customer meetings per week.
• Develop and maintain an aggressive funnel of opportunities to achieve sales targets.
• Educate customers about ASI product offerings and solutions.
