Job summary

Applied Spectral Imaging (ASI) is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to support ASI's cytogenetics and pathology products across the U.S. This role involves frequent travel to provide customer support, application expertise, system installation assistance, training, troubleshooting, and field communication.

The ideal candidate has a strong biomedical or life sciences background and can communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of biomedical/laboratory/workflows and ability to learn ASI systems quickly.
Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Support cytogenetics and pathology products across the U.S. with field service and remote assistance.
Install, configure, calibrate, and support ASI systems at customer sites.
Provide customer training on system operation and workflows.
Troubleshoot issues and assist with root-cause analysis and information gathering.
Document activities and communicate feedback to internal teams.
Collaborate with Sales, Applications, R&D, and Product Management as needed.
Travel to customer sites up to 75% to deliver service and support.
