Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the West Region. This remote role focuses on driving revenue growth, managing strategic accounts, and expanding business with travel to customer sites and events.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of sales and CRM experience (prefer Salesforce), strong presentation skills, and a proven ability to develop new business while maintaining existing relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of sales and customer support experience.
• 3–5 years of CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.
• Experience conducting virtual sales presentations and webinars.
• Demonstrated success in new business development and account growth.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
• Ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed annual revenue and sales goals and targets.
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, outbound calling, email campaigns, webinars, and in-person meetings.
• Manage and grow existing customer and strategic account relationships.
• Maintain sales opportunities, customer activity, and forecasting in Salesforce.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and sales webinars.
• Collaborate with strategic accounts and support internal sales teams on account-related processes.
• Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Represent the company at trade shows and customer events.
• Manage travel expenses and provide accurate sales forecasts.
• Coordinate trade show logistics and materials.
