Job summary

AMETEK Inc. seeks a Regional Sales Manager for the Southwestern US, focusing on direct sales within the territory and building relationships with new and existing clients.

The role reports to the Director of Sales & Business Development and involves demonstrating our technologies to customers while leveraging CRM to manage opportunities. The ideal candidate has a strong hunter mindset, 5+ years in field engineering or sales, and a willingness to travel extensively in the Western U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science; relevant experience considered.
• 5 years of progressive field engineering/sales experience.
• Travel requirement: 60%. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and access export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct sales for the assigned Southwestern US territory.
• Demonstrate hardware and software technologies to potential customers.
• Submit monthly sales forecasts and use CRM for opportunity tracking.
