Job summary

AMETEK IntelliPower is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Western United States. This remote role involves developing sales strategies, managing channel partners, forecasting orders, and driving growth in a high-performance UPS and power- conversion product portfolio.

You will train and support regional sales teams, engage key customers, and collaborate with marketing, engineering, and operations to reflect market needs. A technical background and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience, including 3+ years as a regional sales manager.
• Ability to travel 25–50% and work remotely in the Western U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales strategies to grow market share and profitability in the Western U.S.
• Manage channel partners and provide factory support to drive sales objectives.
• Report funnel status and revise sales/marketing plans to meet targets.
• Maintain weekly forecast and CRM data for partners and customers.
• Train local sales teams on IntelliPower products and objection handling.
• Engage key customers to build strategic relationships and grow accounts.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing and Engineering to reflect market needs.
• Analyze historical sales to identify trends and lifecycle insights.
• Monitor and adjust plans to achieve projected orders and revenue.
