Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive West region growth for the Commercial Pump Solutions group. Based in Spring, TX, you will lead a dispersed team, partner with distributors and engineers, and shape regional plans to win new business.

You will coach Territory Sales Managers, manage pipeline, and guide forecasts while collaborating with product, marketing, and service teams to accelerate demand creation and market penetration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience leading remote or geographically dispersed sales teams.
• Demonstrated success delivering profitable growth through new business development and market expansion.
• Experience influencing specifications or Basis of Design decisions in complex sales cycles.
• 5+ years of people leadership with coaching and development responsibility.
• Experience with mechanical rotating equipment such as centrifugal pumps.
• Experience with HVAC, fire, or commercial plumbing systems preferred.
• Excellent presentation skills to engineering firms and building owners.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Salesforce CRM, and Encompass.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Sales Managers across the region.
• Conduct regular sales reviews, pipeline inspections, and guidance to achieve regional objectives.
• Build a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability and collaboration.
• Develop and execute regional business plans aligned with growth priorities.
• Drive demand creation activities influencing specs and Basis of Design with partners.
• Expand market share by identifying new opportunities and strategic initiatives.
• Establish relationships with key customers, channel partners, and industry influencers.
• Lead territory planning and resource allocation to maximize performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Service to support growth.
