Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead commercial growth across the East region of the United States. You will coach a dispersed team of Territory Sales Managers, drive demand creation, and expand market share with distributors, engineers, consultants, and end users.

Travel up to 40% is required. The role offers a base pay range of $114,000 to $211,800 per year, plus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive sales, business development or commercial leadership experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing remote or dispersed sales teams.
• Experience influencing specifications or upstream purchasing decisions in complex sales cycles.
• Experience with mechanical rotating equipment or HVAC/plumbing systems is preferred.
• Excellent presentation skills for engineering firms and building owners.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Sales Managers across the region.
• Conduct regular sales reviews, pipeline inspections, and guide team toward objectives.
• Develop regional business plans aligned with growth priorities.
• Drive demand creation and influence specification decisions with partners.
• Expand market share by identifying new customer opportunities.
• Build relationships with customers, channel partners, and industry influencers.
• Lead territory planning and forecast discussions.
