Job summary

Pentair plc is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead a dispersed team across the East region of the United States. You will drive revenue growth, influence specifications, and partner with distributors, engineers, consultants, contractors, OEMs, and end users to accelerate market expansion.

The role requires 8+ years in sales leadership, a strong track record of profitable growth, and experience with complex sales cycles. Travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience leading remote or geographically dispersed sales teams.
• Demonstrated success delivering profitable growth through new business development and market expansion.
• Experience influencing specifications or upstream purchasing decisions within complex sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a regional team of Territory Sales Managers to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
• Develop regional business plans and drive demand creation with distributors, engineers, consultants, and end users.
• Expand market share by identifying new opportunities and strategic growth initiatives.
• Build relationships with customers, channel partners, and industry influencers to improve commercial effectiveness.
• Forecast, review pipelines, and coach on consultative selling and value-based conversations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related discipline
