Job summary

BKF is seeking a Vice President of Business Development for the Planning and Government Solutions Division. You will lead the overall BD strategy across the Western Region, partnering with senior leadership to expand market share in government and infrastructure sectors.

The role includes building a high-performance BD team, driving cross-selling, and representing BKF at industry events. Qualifications include 15+ years in BD/marketing leadership within A/E/C or infrastructure services, with

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in business development, marketing leadership, and strategic planning within the A/E/C or infrastructure services sectors.
• Experience in Western U.S. markets preferred.
• Ability to travel regularly across CA, OR, WA and related regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive business development program and set strategies to meet annual bookings, book-to-burn, and weighted pipeline targets for the Division.
• Develop and execute BD strategies for Planning and Government Solutions to grow market share and profitability.
• Partner with division and senior leadership to align growth strategies across geographies, markets, and client segments.
• Build and mentor the Division’s BD team, including Regional Directors and Managers, across the Western Region.
• Represent BKF at industry events and client meetings to promote brand visibility and thought leadership.
