BKF Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Business Development for the Planning and Government Solutions Division.

This leadership role will drive strategic BD initiatives across the Western Region, partnering with Division leadership and client leaders to expand market share in government, transportation, water, and land development sectors. You will build and mentor a regional BD team, align with corporate goals, and manage pursuits from opportunity to contract.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development, marketing leadership, and strategic planning within A/E/C or infrastructure services.
• Experience traveling regularly throughout CA, OR, and WA to support client engagement and growth initiatives.
• Proven success leading BD programs, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field as listed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive business development program and establish strategies to achieve annual financial goals.
• Direct the BD strategy for the Planning and Government Solutions Division with a Western Region focus.
• Develop and execute growth strategies across markets, geographies, and client segments.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and build strategic partnerships with leadership.
• Coach seller-doers and build a robust regional BD team across multiple offices.
• Ensure CRM plans, budgets, and client engagement pipelines are accurate and up-to-date.
