Job summary

BKF is seeking a Vice President of Business Development for Planning and Government Solutions to lead the Western Region growth, partnering with leadership to expand market share across government, transportation, water, and land development. This role will travel regularly and report to the Chief Business Development Officer, guiding strategy and the BD team across California, Oregon, and Washington.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development, marketing leadership, and strategic planning within A/E/C or infrastructure services.
• Experience in Western U.S. markets preferred.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout California, Oregon, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive business development program and establish strategies to achieve annual financial goals for the Division.
• Lead the overall business development strategy and program for the Planning and Government Solutions Division, focusing on CA, OR, and WA.
• Develop and execute BD strategies for Planning and Government services to enhance market share and profitability.
• Partner with executive leadership to align growth strategies across markets, geographies, and client segments.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and drive marketing initiatives to grow the division.
• Drive the Pursuit to Win process from opportunity creation through contract negotiation.
