Job summary

BKF seeks a results-driven Vice President of Business Development for the Planning and Government Solutions Division. The role leads the BD strategy across the Western Region, partnering with senior leaders to expand market share in government, transportation, water, and land development sectors.

The position requires 15+ years in B2D/marketing leadership within A/E/C or infrastructure services, with travel across CA, OR, WA. A Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years in business development, marketing leadership, and strategic planning within A/E/C or infrastructure services.
• Experience in Western U.S. markets preferred and ability to travel regularly.
• Proven leadership in client relationships, strategic planning, and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive BD program and set strategies to meet annual goals including bookings and pipeline.
• Drive BD strategy for Planning and Government Solutions Division with initial focus on CA, OR, WA.
• Develop and execute growth strategies across markets, geographies, and client segments.
• Partner with executive leadership to ensure cross-sell opportunities and strong client relationships.
• Oversee CRM usage, budgeting, and pursuit-to-win processes.
