Mead & Hunt is seeking a business developer to expand the water practice on the West Coast and across business units. Flexible remote-work options are available, with reporting to the nearest West Coast office and travel up to 75%.

The role focuses on working with public clients to leverage the firm’s water/wastewater expertise, expanding relationships, and developing new service offerings. You will manage CRM, support proposal development, and collaborate with marketing and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field + at least five (5) years of marketing experience in water/wastewater.
• If no degree, at least nine (9) years of relevant experience with five (5) years in a relevant industry.

Responsabilités

• Learn municipal water/wastewater industry and cross-sell to other sectors.
• Engage with current and potential public clients to expand Mead & Hunt’s relationships and services.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams via web conferences, phone, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings.
• Maintain CRM with forecast, dates, costs, and proposal status; coordinate with Marketing.
• Draft and develop technically written proposals with SMEs and partners.
