Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking a business developer to grow the water portfolio on the West Coast and across the firm. You will cultivate relationships with public clients and expand service offerings through cross-selling and leadership in project delivery forms including EPC and traditional professional services.

The role requires engaging with clients, leveraging CRM for forecasts, and traveling up to 75%. Flexible remote options are available, with reporting to the nearest West Coast office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 5+ years of marketing experience in a relevant industry.
• Alternatively, 9+ years of relevant experience with 5+ years in a relevant industry.
• Proven track record in business development with municipalities, government agencies, or industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the water business on the West Coast and across Mead & Hunt business units.
• Identify and engage with current and potential customers to expand relationships and services.
• Maintain CRM with forecast, proposal deadlines, and client communications.
• Draft technically written proposals and coordinate with SMEs, vendors, and partners.
• Represent the firm at trade associations and regional/national events.
