Job summary

Mead & Hunt is seeking a dynamic Business Developer to grow client relationships in water and wastewater sectors. You will cultivate new national accounts, manage proposals, and coordinate with the VP of Sales & Marketing.

This role offers flexibility to work from home or any Mead & Hunt office, with 25–50% travel. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 5+ years in the industry, plus strong communication and CRM skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Alternative: 9+ years of relevant experience with no degree.
• Experience in water/wastewater services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand Mead & Hunt's water/wastewater services and manufacturing industries.
• Identify and engage with current and potential customers to expand relationships.
• Maintain CRM with forecast, dates, costs, and proposal status; support leadership review.
• Draft and develop technically written proposals with SMEs and vendors.
• Participate in national trade associations and events.
