Job summary

Mead & Hunt is seeking a business developer to expand client relationships in the water and wastewater sectors. You will leverage the firm's technical expertise through traditional services and EPC contracting, working with private sector clients to broaden offerings.

The role supports flexible work location (home or any Mead & Hunt office) with 25–50% travel. A strong candidate will have relevant engineering experience, proven sales ability, and proficiency with CRM and AI-assisted tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field and at least five (5) years of relevant experience, including at least three (3) years within a relevant industry.
• OR if no degree, at least nine (9) years of relevant experience, including at least five (5) years within a relevant industry.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand Food & Beverage and other manufacturing industries to support customers' water and wastewater needs.
• Discover and engage with current and potential customers; follow up to improve satisfaction and secure repeat business.
• Draft technically written proposals using subject matter experts and vendors; manage CRM updates.
• Participate in trade associations and national events; stay updated on market drivers and funding.
