Switchcraft, Inc. is a U.S. manufacturer of harsh environment circular connectors, cable assemblies and interconnect solutions. The Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast will drive sales, manage reps and distributor relationships, and lead key accounts in the territory.

This on-site role in Chicago, IL, requires 5+ years in technical sales, a technical degree, and willingness to travel 25–35% to support growth and design wins across OEMs and distributors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred.
• 5+ years in a technical sales role, preferably with electronic components.
• Ability to convey the features and benefits of product lines and listen to customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales goals, including new design wins, with customers, reps and distributors.
• Train and motivate the sales staff and territory managers for the region.
• Review and optimize the representative network within the territory.
• Attend relevant trade shows and industry events.
• Manage relationships for corporate distribution accounts in the territory.
• Provide feedback on competitor activity and market trends.
