Job summary

GNR - Global Network Recruiting seeks a Field Applications Engineer for interconnect products to support our West Coast customers in PCIe retimers, switch products, and active cables. The role centers on design-in, training, and technical support within a high-visibility, cross-functional team reporting to Sales leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience as an FAE/AE in the interconnect industry.
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or able to operate in the region.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Solid understanding of the data center ecosystem and Tier 1 CSPs/ODM partners.

Responsibilities

• Own first-level technical support for interconnect customers on the West Coast.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering, Design Engineering, CPU vendors, and IP vendors to resolve issues.
• Escalate and keep management informed on open issues.
• Directly communicate with customers to understand needs and troubleshoot challenges.
• Conduct onsite visits and serve as the primary technical contact for assigned customers.
