Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking an Account Manager for OEM and MRO in the West Coast Region, with a hybrid work arrangement in Ames, IA. You will serve as the go-to field sales representative, driving growth with distributor partners and indirect customers across the territory.

The role requires a engineering or business degree and several years in technical or industrial sales, plus CRM experience and strong presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Industrial) or Business Administration.
• 3 years experience in technical sales, industrial sales, fluid power, hydraulics, electronics, automation, or motion control industry.
• 3 years experience of developing and delivering presentations to technical and commercial audiences, translating product capabilities into customer value across use cases.
• 3 years experience working for a global company cross-functionally and with internal teams, distribution partners, and customers.
• 1 year experience using a CRM system.

Responsabilités

• Identify, develop and capture business in the assigned territory and meet sales and pipeline development goals.
• Develop Distributor Partner and indirect customer relationships, and service specific accounts and/or a designed geographical area.
• Utilize a professional sales process to uncover customer needs, handle objections/concerns, and determine appropriate solutions for profitable growth.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute all sales efforts at assigned distribution channel partners.
• Prepares and submits routine call reports, monthly reports, action plan updates, operating plan updates, GAP Analysis, and other sales-oriented documents to the Regional Sales Director.
• Gather and communicate market intelligence through CRM software.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with key channel partners to review performance.
• 50% regional travel.
