Job summary

Danfoss is seeking an Account Manager to be the face of our Fluid Conveyance Distribution Sales team, building strong relationships with channel partners across the Central US. You will deliver high-value, system-based solutions rather than just products, and act as a trusted advisor to support growth and profitability.

The role requires 3+ years in technical sales, a bachelor’s degree in business or engineering, and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably hydraulics or fluid power.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven success in managing accounts and building relationships in a distribution channel.
• Excellent communication and the ability to understand and sell complex system solutions.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable sales growth by identifying new opportunities and strengthening relationships with distribution partners.
• Act as a trusted advisor to distributors and customers, understanding their technical needs and delivering fluid conveyance solutions.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans for assigned accounts to meet growth targets.
• Lead quarterly business reviews with key partners to align strategy and performance.
• Gather and communicate market intelligence to keep Danfoss ahead of the curve.
