Job summary

Danfoss is seeking an Account Manager, Retail to drive profitable sales growth in the South region while maintaining existing business. The role focuses on building strong partner relationships with distribution channels and leveraging DPS solutions to create customer value.

Remote-based position within AZ/CA/NV with up to 50% travel. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in hydraulics/electronics sales are required; Salesforce experience is a plus. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Hydraulics and/or Electronics Industry sales or equivalent technical sales background.
• Ability to understand and discuss technical and commercial aspects of products/solutions.
• Experience using a CRM system (Salesforce preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and capture business opportunities in the assigned territory, meeting sales and pipeline goals.
• Develop strong relationships with distributor partners and indirect customers as the primary field sales representative for Danfoss Power Solutions.
• Use a professional sales process to uncover customer needs, address objections, and articulate DPS value.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute all sales efforts at assigned distribution channel partners.
• Maintain an up-to-date opportunity funnel within CRM (Salesforce).
• Lead quarterly business reviews with key channel partners to review performance.
