Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a team of Account Executives II, focusing on mid-sized Private Sector accounts. You will hire, coach, and develop a high-performing, inclusive sales group, guiding strategy, pipeline reviews, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve quarterly targets.

Qualifications

• Two years+ of proven leadership performance.
• Strong track record of coaching a team on outbounding.
• Experience navigating complex sales cycles with multiple decision makers.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
• Self-starter and adaptable to change.
• Growth mindset to learn a unique industry.
• Data-driven decision making in current role.
• Ability to provide upwards feedback to upper management.
• Ability to forecast existing pipeline accurately.

Responsibilities

• Coach a team of ~8 account executives on sales strategy, pipeline reviews and quarterly targets.
• Hire new account executives and provide onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Work cross-functionally to solve problems and project manage.
• Create content for ongoing training and development.
• Support account executives through professional development plans.
• Provide clear and tactical feedback to account executives.
• Foster culture within the team and commercial organization with high EI.
• Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally.
