Job summary

Samsara is hiring a Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives II focused on mid-sized Private Sector customers. This remote role serves candidates in the US Pacific/Mountain Time Zone, with relocation not offered.

You will hire, coach, and align cross-functionally to optimize sales outcomes and customer outcomes. Your track record in coaching outbound sales, managing complex deals, and forecasting will be essential.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of proven leadership.
• Proven coaching experience for outbounding teams.
• Understanding of multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Excellent communication and public speaking.
• Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
• Self-starter and adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Coach a team of ~8 account executives on sales strategy and quarterly targets.
• Hire and onboard new account executives and provide ongoing coaching.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and manage projects.
• Create training content for ongoing development.
• Support executives through development plans.
• Provide clear, tactical feedback to account executives.
• Promote Samsara’s culture and teamwork across the org.
• Champion and embody Samsara’s core principles at scale.
• Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing, inclusive team.
