Job summary

Treeline Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive net-new revenue in the West Coast, covering State, County and Municipal transportation agencies. This is a remote position with 50%+ travel, with candidates able to reside in AZ, WA, OR, UT or CO.

You will lead end-to-end sales, navigate 9–24 month procurement cycles, collaborate with Solutions Engineers, and align partners to secure public sector contracts while ensuring smooth post-sale transitions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B/public sector business development or enterprise sales experience in ITS/Traffic Tech/Smart City/Telematics.
• Proven track record navigating long-cycle government procurement (9–24 months) with RFPs and DOT stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of IoT, connected vehicle technology, hardware infrastructure, or mobility analytics; translate features into business value.

Responsibilities

• Territory prospecting to build pipeline across state, county and municipal agencies.
• Manage 9– to 24-month complex sales cycles from discovery to contract closure with cross-functional support.
• Partner alignment with channel partners, resellers, and internal teams for public sector contracts and post-sale transitions.
