Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Manager of Solutions Engineering for Enterprise. You will build and lead a high-performing presales team, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Product to drive adoption of Grafana OSS and commercial offerings.

Remote-first role with executive sponsorship of major accounts, and a strong focus on coaching, performance, and regional growth. Competitive OTE includes RSUs and long-term incentives.

Qualifications

• Located on the West Coast.
• 5+ years in high tech roles (Developer, Sales Engineer/Architect, Manager).
• Experience mentoring and managing performance over time.
• Open Source selling or Cloud-first go-to-market experience.
• Experience with MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies.
• Experience selling monitoring/visualization products.
• DevOps experience (IaC, CI/CD, GitHub Actions) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attract, recruit, ramp, and mentor a team of Presales SEs from diverse backgrounds.
• Lead with a coaching mindset and balance field responsibilities with team needs.
• Executive sponsorship of key regional accounts to drive success.
• Direct day-to-day planning and outcomes for the region.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and events to drive awareness of Grafana’s brand.
• Develop programs to enable customer adoption of Grafana technologies.
• Coordinate with Product Management and Engineering to deliver value.
• Own quarterly plan and build pipeline for new logo targets.
