Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to lead the development and execution of a nationwide Pre-Construction program for new data center campuses.

You will coordinate between Real Estate, Design Engineering, Due Diligence and other partners to forecast schedules, budgets and constructability. You will review bid proposals, define scopes, and manage GC and third‑party vendors during design, ensuring milestones align with site requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of project management in data centers or similar infra.
• Experience with bidding, contracting, and engineering documentation.
• Knowledge of building codes and data center equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of nationwide pre-construction programs.
• Coordinate between Real Estate, Design Engineering and Due Diligence.
• Forecast schedules, budgeting, and constructability guidance for projects.
• Negotiate bids and manage GCs and third‑party vendors during design.
• Define scopes, review bid summaries, and ensure milestones.
• Issue contracting documents and develop handoff to Construction Manager.
• Share lessons learned to drive continuous improvement across programs.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
