Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a data-center pre-construction leader to guide budgeting, campus planning and delivery across the Americas. You will manage a team of builders and collaborate with Real Estate, Design and Project Management to drive constructability improvements and on-time execution.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a hands-on owner mindset, with extensive experience in large-scale data center projects and supplier contracts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of datacenter management experience across operations and construction.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• Experience in data center delivery (design, commissioning and construction) and mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of builders to develop project budgets and schedules.
• Drive campus planning with Real Estate, Design and Project Management.
• Deliver project schedules aligned with capacity delivery needs.
• Contract supply partners to enable long-term growth and capacity.
• Develop mechanisms to ensure budget accuracy, scope control and cost avoidance.
