Job summary

Minerva Area YMCA is seeking a part-time front desk and wellness center associate to deliver friendly service to members and program participants at the Minerva location.

The role combines front desk duties with wellness center support, emphasizing member engagement, issue resolution, and program promotion. Part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and reduced rates for child care and most programs.

Qualifications

• Customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred; training provided.
• Knowledge of health and wellness fields.
• Understanding of exercise equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants.
