Job summary

YMCA of Indiana County is seeking a friendly, dependable Membership Services Representative to be the first point of contact for members, guests, and participants. You will help with memberships, registrations, facility access, payments, and general questions at our welcoming front desk.

You’ll promote YMCA programs and services while upholding our values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Teamwork. This part-time role offers opportunities for growth and community impact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or in progress.
• Previous customer service/front desk experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle payments, registrations, and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist members, guests, and participants in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide information about YMCA programs, memberships, schedules, and facility operations.
• Process memberships, program registrations, payments, refunds, and other transactions accurately.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and direct questions appropriately.
• Promote YMCA programs, events, and services to enhance member engagement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming front desk environment.
• Monitor member check-in procedures and follow YMCA membership policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of member and organizational information.
• Support special events, membership promotions, and YMCA initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with staff across departments to provide excellent service.
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by YMCA leadership.
