Job summary

YMCA of Greater Dayton in Minster, OH is seeking a Member Services representative to support the front desk, handle member transactions, and assist with program registrations. This role focuses on welcoming guests and delivering excellent service in a community-focused setting.

Position offers flexible hours as part-time or full-time non-exempt status. The opener shift from 4:45am to 12:45pm is available Monday through Friday, with opportunities to adjust to fit team needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED required.
• A 2-year degree or applicable experience is preferred.
• One year or more of related customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent member service at the Member Service Desk.
• Performs membership sales, changes, cancellations, and all other member transactions including program registration and other activities.
• Conducts tours of the facility for prospective members and guests.
• Displays excellent telephone skills.
• Handles monetary transactions and appropriate reconciliation of these transactions.
• Builds relationships with members and proactively solves problems.
• Keeps up-to-date with member information as outlined in the member handbook.
