Job summary

YMCA of Central Stark County in Minerva is seeking a part-time associate to support the Wellness Center and Front Desk, delivering friendly service to members, guests, and program participants. This dual role emphasizes welcoming others, addressing concerns, and helping guests connect with YMCA programs.

Starting rate is $11.35 per hour, commensurate with experience. Available shifts include weekday afternoons and evenings, Saturday mornings, and additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer Service, sales, or related experience.
• Solid computer skills and Microsoft Office experience.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups of people.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred; training provided.
• Health and wellness knowledge.
• Understanding of exercise equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants.
• Handles and resolves concerns.
• Promotes and sells memberships and programs.
• Builds relationships and connects community members to the YMCA.
