You will act as a Subject Matter Specialist, aligning high‑level welding engineering with operational excellence and visiting client sites to identify bottlenecks and propose advanced technologies for safer, more efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• 4+ years welding/industrial experience.
• Experience with welding equipment and automation.
• Weld surveys and efficiency analyses experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer welding/cutting practices and conduct Weld Surveys and Efficiency Analyses.
• Advance Fabrication Sales Methodology to grow capital equipment, robotics, and automation solutions.
• Provide knowledgeable support on CNC cutting, robotic welding, and plasma/laser integration.
• Mentor Welding Specialist team; provide onsite product and application training.
• Coordinate installation and servicing of fixed and robotic automation projects.
• Collect and report on market trends and customer needs to maintain Airgas leadership.
