The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in Welding Eng or related field and 5+ years of welding engineering experience in manufacturing, with knowledge of AWS/ASME codes and QC practices. On-site role with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of welding engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Expertise in welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, SAW).
• Knowledge of AWS/ASME codes and QC procedures.
• Proficiency in WPS/PQR development and specs.
• Root cause analysis and corrective-action experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify welding procedures (WPS/PQR) per standards.
• Provide technical support for welding on the production line.
• Select welding processes, equipment, and consumables.
• Perform root cause analysis for welding defects and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design/manufacturing to optimize joints.
• Train and mentor welding technicians and operators.
• Implement and maintain welding quality control measures and inspection plans.
