Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Grand Haven, MI seeks a Welding Engineer to support manufacturing partners. You will develop welding procedures, analyze defects, and help drive quality and efficiency on the shop floor. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in welding or related field and 3+ years of welding experience; knowledge of AWS D1.1/ASME IX is preferred.

NDT methods and CAD tools like SolidWorks are a plus. This role offers networking across West Michigan manufacturers and potential leadership

Qualifications

3+ years in welding processes within manufacturing.
Familiarity with AWS D1.1 and ASME IX codes.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize welding procedures for manufacturing processes.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for welding defects.
Evaluate and select welding equipment, consumables, and materials.
Provide technical support and training to welding technicians and personnel.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives for welding quality and efficiency.
