Job summary

Responsibilities include developing and optimizing welding procedures, conducting root cause analyses, evaluating equipment and automation, and training technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing focusing on welding processes and metallurgy.
• AWS CWI or CWE certification.
• Proficient in welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, SAW).
• Strong understanding of NDT, metallurgy, and failure analysis of welded components.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize welding procedures and parameters.
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for welding defects.
• Evaluate and select welding equipment, consumables, and automation solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to welding technicians and manufacturing personnel.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and customer specifications.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
