Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking a Welder I in Tulsa, OK for multi-shift opportunities. You will weld metal components to fabricate or repair products per layouts and blueprints, using brazing and arc/gas welding equipment.

The role includes handling pole shafts with overhead cranes and following safety policies. The successful candidate will have welding exposure, ability to read blueprints, basic math, and a willingness to learn Valmont fitting processes within 6–12 months.

Qualifications

• One month of welding experience in a manufacturing/fabrication environment.
• Ability to complete an internal welding test.
• Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, divide.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding operations to fabricate or repair components.
• Read blueprints and work from specifications to determine operation sequence.
• Handle welding activities with moderate safety/load requirements in a single position.
• Move pole shafts and materials using an overhead crane.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
