Qualifications

• MIG welding experience preferred and able to read blueprints.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow written instructions.
• Commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced shop.
• Strong teamwork and positive communication with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Work from blueprints to fit structural parts in prep for welding.
• Lay out and cut metal with a cutting torch as instructed.
• Weld structural components for steel poles, substations, and structures.
• Adjust welding equipment to prescribed settings and maintain quality.
• Move pole shafts with an overhead crane and gather parts for projects.
• Wear all safety PPE and participate in department safety practices.
• Perform other duties as directed by leadership.
