Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Leader to support daily operations and uphold Raised Cane’s standards and culture. The role focuses on staffing, onboarding, scheduling and coaching in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee opening/closing, cash handling and customer service, while ensuring food safety and cleanliness. The position requires at least 3 years of restaurant or retail management experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience; valid driver’s license; 18+.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Leader in day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
• Hire and terminate all hourly, non-management crewmembers.
• Own onboarding, status changes and payroll for all hourly crewmembers.
• Create crewmember work and training schedules.
• Manage the performance of hourly crewmembers (coaching, documentation and development).
• Act as manager on duty and open/close the restaurant.
• Manage cash handling and ensure accountability.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintain safety standards.
