Job summary

Raising Cane’s is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Leader to support the Restaurant Leader in daily operations and uphold our standards and culture. This role involves managing a fast-paced kitchen and customer interactions in a dynamic restaurant environment.

You will hire and onboard hourly staff, create schedules, oversee performance, and ensure cash handling accuracy. The position requires 3+ years in restaurant management and flexibility across shifts.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Self-driven, flexible, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in technology systems including Microsoft Office; quick to learn new tools.
• 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience; new opening experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hires and terminates hourly non-management crewmembers.
• Owns onboarding, status changes, and payroll processing for hourly staff.
• Creates work and training schedules for crewmembers.
• Manages performance through coaching, documentation, and corrective actions.
• Acts as manager on duty and handles opening/closing of the restaurant.
• Manages cash handling and ensures accountability.
