Job summary

Emerus operates small-format hospitals and seeks a Tele RN with ICU/MCU/Step Down experience to assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care. The ideal candidate will care for higher-acuity inpatients, manage cardiac/rhythm tasks, and support respiratory therapies in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role offers weekend shifts (Fri-Sun, 7am-7pm) with a weekend differential, along with benefits such as 401K match, paid referrals, and free parking.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions required.
• 2+ years RN Telemetry/ICU experience or equivalent healthcare experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• English fluency in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care to high-acuity patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Follow physician orders and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform testing per policy and regulations.
• Handle admissions, discharges and transfers.
