Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced RN for Tele/ICU/Step-Down care in a 20 bed small-format hospital. The role focuses on high-acuity inpatient care, with weekend night shifts (Fri, Sat, Sun, 7pm–7am) and a sign-on bonus eligibility.

A Nurse with ICU experience will assess and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions. Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma, current PA RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with telemetry/ICU/step-down experience required.
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation skills required.
• Experience with BiPAP and high-flow oxygen therapies.
• English fluency; valid RN license in state of practice.
• Act 33/Act 73 clearances per PA guidelines (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific nursing care.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Handle admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Assemble equipment and supplies for procedures in the service area.
• Comply with state Board of Nursing standards and facility policies.
