Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Telemetry/ICU nurse to assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role requires high-acuity inpatient experience, strong cardiac care skills, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across telemedicine platforms.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure, 2+ years in Telemetry/ICU, BLS/ACLS, English fluency, and preferably PALS. This full-time position offers weekend differential and comprehensive benefits, with opportunities to

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• 2+ years Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• English fluency for written and verbal communication.
• PA Act 33/Act 73 clearances may be required before start.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care with advanced clinical knowledge.
• Follow physician orders and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Collect samples and perform labs per policy and regulation.
• Handle admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Prepare equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures.
• Work within state nursing standards and hospital policies.
