Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced RN to join our Telemetry/ICU team on the weekend shift, delivering specialized care in a 20-bed small-format hospital. The role emphasizes rapid assessment, coordinated care, and ongoing patient evaluation in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in Telemetry/ICU, strong cardiac rhythm skills, and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while maintaining patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or 2+ years in related healthcare positions
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS strongly preferred
• Active RN license in state; Act 33/73 clearances may be required
• English language proficiency in speaking and writing
• Experience with high-acuity inpatient care and rapid response situations

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and provide nursing care for patients with developing needs
• Follow physician orders for nursing interventions and treatments
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques
• Collect specimens and perform lab testing per policy and regulatory standards
• Handle admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Prepare equipment for procedures and assist with treatments
• Comply with state nursing practice standards and hospital policies
