Job summary

Emerus, the leader in small-format hospitals, is seeking a registered nurse to assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in Telemetry/ICU settings. The weekend day shift includes 7am–7pm, Friday through Sunday, with weekend differentials.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years ICU/Telemetry, cardiac care, and ventilator experience, with active RN license and BLS/ACLS. BSN preferred. Join a team focused on compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing; state requirements apply.
• 2+ years RN Telemetry/ICU or related experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-appropriate nursing care with advanced clinical knowledge.
• Follow physician orders in delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform testing per policies.
• Manage admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Prepare equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures.
• Operate within facility policies and nursing standards.
