Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Tele RN for ICU/MCU/step-down care in a 20-bed small-format hospital. The role focuses on assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care on the night shift during weekends.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in Telemetry/ICU, strong cardiac management skills, and experience with advanced respiratory therapies. The facility offers night/weekend differentials and a $20,000 sign-on bonus eligible.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license without sanctions required.
• 2+ years RN Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• English fluency in written and oral communication.
• PA-specific clearances (Act 33/Act 73) within last 5 years or prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide proficient, age-appropriate nursing care.
• Follow physician orders in delivering care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Collect lab samples and perform testing per policies and COLA/CLIA.
• Handle admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment for procedures and assist others.
• Comply with state nursing practice standards.
